Penboch Camping is situated in the very heart of the Morbihan Bay and the department, between the Rhuis Peninsula, Sarzeau, Muzillac on one side and Auray, La Trinite, Carnac and Locmariaquer on the other side.
The Bay of Morbihan is one of the most visited places in Brittany. It's part of "the most beautiful bays in the world"
It's a unique site, a little sea sprinkled with small islands like " L'Ile aux Moines" and "l'Ile d'Arz".
There are many outdoor activities on offer such as walks on its many coastal footpath, fishing or sailing. YOu can also discover its harbours, its regattas of old sailing boats.
Trips can be booked at the campsite to the islands in the bayor a bit further to Belle-Ile-en-Mer.
Vannes is a medieval city in Southern Brittany and is full of history. Many of the buildings have been preserved such as the old communal washing areas ( lavoirs), the city walls and the old pedestrian streets.
There are many ways to enjoy Vannes and its region whatever your age with some guided tours of the town, visits to the museums, to the markets, to the aquarium and ice-skating ring.
